| Eneclann
conducted an audit of the accuracy of the database of
Parish Records put together by the Irish Genealogical
Project. IGL Ltd (A Semi-State agency set up to promote
the genealogy industry in Ireland). This involved the
formulation of a mathematically sound process for taking
and analysing samples of data from 32 Heritage Centres
throughout Ireland. Eneclann had teams working in the
National Library as well as on site at the centres.
At the end of the project Eneclann
provided a comprehensive report on the accuracy of the
database to date, estimated times to enter remaining
information and the need to monitor/supervise future
inputting. Eneclann made recommendations in two further
reports on the technical infrastructure and the IT options
for the IGP centres. |
