| Eneclann’s
strategy for putting genealogical services online is:
• To work with the custodians of valuable and unique
genealogical sources to make their material publicly accessible
via the web
• To develop specialised search services to simplify
searching for genealogical data on the web
To achieve this we have developed a partnership with specialist
online genealogy provider Origins. Origins.net is a pioneer
of Internet based genealogy research, it's record to date
includes
•
Scots Origins (1998), the first service providing
Internet access to government genealogical records.
• English Origins
(2001), in association with the Society of Genealogists
• Irish Origins
(2003) including: - Griffith’s Primary Valuation
of Ireland - Census Returns - Index of Irish Wills - Passenger
Lists - Survey Maps & Plans.
